Photier is an advanced platform that streamlines the process of capturing and distributing event photos. Utilizing cutting-edge face recognition technology, Photier allows event organizers to upload photos and automatically distribute them to participants. This ensures that attendees receive their personalized event photos instantly. The platform is designed to enhance the event experience by making photo sharing seamless, efficient, and accurate. Whether for weddings, corporate events, or social gatherings, Photier ensures that every moment is captured and delivered to those who cherish them.

The name "Photier" comes from combining "photo" with the suffix "-ier," which signifies a person or entity responsible for a specific action. Just like a financier manages finances and a hotelier oversees hotels, a Photier is the master of photos, ensuring they are captured, managed, and delivered seamlessly to event participants. This innovative platform uses face recognition technology to bring photos to the right people, making memories unforgettable and easily accessible.

In Photier, a "Photi" is the digital currency used on the platform. It operates on a "Pay As You Go" basis, where 1 Photi equals the distribution of 1 photo. When you sign up, you automatically receive 100 Photis in your account. These can be used immediately to distribute photos across all feature sets. If you run out of Photis, you can easily purchase more through the secure control panel. This system is designed to be efficient, budget-friendly, and global, simplifying the process of managing and distributing event photos

Accessible via the Photier mobile app, it allows participants to upload and share photos taken with their phones to a centralized platform. This service supports up to 500 photos per event and a maximum of 20 participants, ensuring high-quality sharing without the clutter and quality reduction commonly associated with other methods like WhatsApp groups. Utilizing advanced face recognition technology, Photier Go organizes and distributes photos efficiently, ensuring everyone can access their own photos effortlessly.

Photier Pro is one of Photier's three main services designed to distribute photos to event attendees. Using advanced face recognition technology, Photier Pro ensures that photos are instantly and accurately delivered to participants without any cost to them. To distribute photos with Photier Pro, you need to purchase Photis, which are the platform's internal credits used for photo distribution. This service is ideal for events where organizers want to provide attendees with high-quality photos seamlessly and efficiently.

An Event Owner in Photier is a role assigned through the panel after an event is created. This role grants specific permissions to the designated person, allowing them to manage various aspects of the event. As an Event Owner, you can view all the photos uploaded to the event, pin posts in the Foyer area, and delete photos uploaded by users. Additionally, you have the authority to grant others the ability to view all photos through the app. This role is crucial for overseeing the event's photo management and ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

To delete the account you created for Photier Pro or PM, you need to contact us directly. Since your panel contains a significant amount of personal data, it is necessary to handle this request securely. Please reach out to us at ask@photier.com for assistance with deleting your account.

Facial recognition systems work by capturing an image of a person's face and analyzing its features, such as the distance between the eyes, the shape of the nose, and the contour of the jawline. These features are then converted into a digital representation, often referred to as a "faceprint." When another image of the face is captured, the system compares it to stored faceprints to find a match. In Photier, this technology is used to identify event participants and automatically distribute their photos to them.

For facial recognition, you can upload up to three photos. Uploading these three well-taken photos will significantly improve the system's ability to recognize you in event photos, making it easier to find your images.

Alternatively, you can add a Photographer or Uploader to handle this task. You can do this by navigating to the "Photo Upload" section in the event settings, entering the email address of the person responsible, and sending them a unique link. Accessories like glasses and hats can sometimes hinder the performance of facial recognition systems during outdoor events. By enabling this feature in the event settings, you allow participants to upload photos with accessories via the app. This ensures that the facial recognition system can identify attendees even when they are wearing items such as glasses or helmets.

QR codes have numerous uses and advantages, especially in visual and printed materials. For instance, at weddings, you can create mini cards (approximately 6x9 cm) with a brief description and a QR code. These cards can be placed on guests' tables, making it easy for them to access event photos. Similarly, QR codes are practical for use on barcovision screens, roll-ups, and any printed materials. They provide a seamless way for attendees to connect to digital content quickly and efficiently, enhancing the overall event experience.

Photier Go is ideal for sharing memories in intimate gatherings among friends. For instance, imagine you are on a vacation where everyone is taking photos with their phones. These photos often get shared in WhatsApp groups, leading to multiple copies of the same photo, which clutters your phone and reduces the image quality. With Photier Go, everyone can upload their phone photos to a shared pool, ensuring the highest quality is maintained. The facial recognition feature also works seamlessly, making photo sharing efficient and organized.

The event created through the application is our Photier Go product. While Photier Go and events created from the panel (Photier Pro or PM) are fundamentally similar in terms of distributing photos, there are some differences. In Photier Go, all uploaded photos are visible to everyone attending the event, but the facial recognition system still works and will show your photos in a separate tab. In contrast, Photier Pro or PM events created from the panel can have photos uploaded as private, allowing individuals to see only their own photos. The most significant difference is that in Photier Go, only photos taken from a phone can be uploaded, whereas Photier Pro and PM allow uploads from any type of camera. Additionally, Photier Go allows a maximum of 500 photos to be uploaded and supports up to 20 participants per event. On the other hand, Photier Pro and PM can handle hundreds of thousands of photos and have no limit on the number of participants.

To invite guests to the event, after creating the event on the Photier panel, the system provides you with three sharing options: a five-digit code, an event link, and a QR code. Each of these options can be used to grant your guests access to the event in different ways, ensuring that you can efficiently invite and manage their participation.

If your photo wasn't found at the event, start by waiting for all photos to be uploaded. Next, you can use the app's "Rescan" feature to search again. If you still can't find your photo, contact the photographer through the "Photographer Details" section in the app. For further assistance, you can always reach out to us at ask@photier.com.

Photier PM (Profit-Maker) is one of Photier's three main services designed to sell photos to event participants. Using advanced face recognition technology, Photier PM ensures that photos are accurately identified and distributed to the attendees who purchase them. Unlike Photier Pro, Photier PM does not require the purchase of Photis for distribution. This service is free for organizers, and Photier does not take a commission from the sales. Photier PM is ideal for events where organizers want to monetize the distribution of high-quality photos to participants efficiently and effectively. By setting prices for each photo, organizers can generate revenue from photo sales while providing a seamless and engaging experience for their attendees.

Selling photos with Photier Profit-Maker is straightforward. First, register and log in to the Photier PM panel at my.photier.com. Once logged in, create your event and set the price for each photo you wish to sell. After setting up the event, invite your guests to join. As participants upload their photos, they will have the option to purchase the photos you’ve set for sale. Simply wait for your guests to buy the uploaded photos at the designated price, ensuring a seamless and profitable photo distribution process.

To determine the price of the photographs you will sell, start by logging into the Photier PM panel at my.photier.com. During the event creation process, you will be prompted to set the price for each photo. A menu will appear where you can enter the amount in USD for each photo you wish to sell. This initial step allows you to establish the pricing framework for your event photos, ensuring that all sales are aligned with your desired price point. By setting the price at this stage, you ensure that participants see and purchase the photos at the specified rate in their local currency converted from USD.

The income from photo sales is calculated based on the price you set for each photo in USD when creating the event. When sales are made through in-app purchases using Apple or Google, they deduct a 15% commission plus VAT. The remaining amount is sent to us, and Photier takes a 0% commission as a service fee, passing the rest of the income to your account. If sales are made using coupon codes, the event creator handles the collection. The total amount of the used coupon codes is displayed on the panel, and the income is added to your account without any deductions.

Participants can purchase their photos by first downloading the Photier app and completing the registration process. Once registered, they can enter the event you created. Within the app, participants will see the photos they are tagged in, but these will initially appear with watermarks and in low resolution. To purchase the photos, participants can add the desired images to their cart. They have the option to buy the photos using in-app purchase methods such as Apple Pay or Google Pay. Alternatively, you can provide them with a coupon code for the purchase. Once the transaction is complete, the watermark is removed, and the participants receive the high-resolution versions of their photos.

To delete the account you created from the Photier application, you can do so from the settings section of the app. This process will irreversibly delete your account. Additionally, you can choose to delete all photos associated with your account. If you opt to delete all your photos, please note that they cannot be recovered by you, the event organizer, or the photographer. Therefore, be very careful when selecting this option.

Yes, you can delete what you wrote in the Foyer. Simply press and hold on the text you want to delete in the app, and a menu will appear allowing you to delete the message. This ensures you have control over the content you share in the Foyer area.
